Task:

Design a logo for the Level Up H-1B Rural Healthcare Grant, to provide EMS training for the upstate.

Response:

To provide a boost to the employment and health of the upstate, the Level Up H-1B Rural Healthcare Grant was written to sponsor EMT training for 100 young men and women. The grant would need not only strong writing from SC Works, but also a logo that would inspire young adults to “Level Up” their healthcare skills. As the design needed to convey energy and growth, the final design incorporated a bright green elecrocardiogram that also took inspiration from the check mark in the logo of SC Works. The grant was later approved, with the Department of Labor giving SC Works $500,000 to the grant, which continues to help individuals to this day!
